- EOL/Windsteel :

From 2006 to 2009, ANAST in collaboration with Research Center Arcelor Mittal Liège and the Walloon Region, has developed software for structural optimization of onshore wind towers called EOL. The aim was then to identify solutions with a manufacturing cost or minimum weight. The benefits of using high quality steel has also been studied in the EOL project.

- HLC_AIMS :

The potential for offshore wind power is huge compared to onshore wind where lack of space greatly reduces the potential. Thus, many offshore wind monopile fixed type have been installed in recent years and many wind projects are now floating in the study.

Due to the high cost of building windmills offshore, large-scale development is needed. However, these constructions are difficult of access, the maintenance cost is also substantial. A system for real-time management of wind farms at sea and a maintenance strategy adapted so quickly and rapidly become indispensable. It is within this framework that is the HLC-AIMS project.
